Collector USB

Collector is a device that enables you to collect data in the field from Guardus series wands. Carried by a supervisor who visits patrol officers onsite, the Collector can download and save data from up to 510 different Guardus wands. After the data has been downloaded to the Collector, the data can be uploaded for review by our PROGuard software via a USB connection.

Who uses Collector?

• Any Contronics guard tour customer that currently uses our Guardus line of wands at different sites.

How does it work?

• Once you touch the Guardus contact sensor to the button located on the Collector it will automatically begin the data transfer. After you have collected the data from all desired wands, you simply attach the Collector to your computer via USB port. This will initiate the transferring of all data to the PROGuard software. The download process is similar to that of a digital camera. It is necessary to have CommCenter software installed. After the data has been transferred from the Collector to PROGuard, the data can be analyzed and viewed within the PROGuard software.
